Alypia octomaculata (Eight Spotted Forester) is a species of Lepidoptera in the family owlet moths. They visit flowers of blackberry, eastern redbud, ragwort, and Barbarea vulgaris. They are nocturnal. Individuals can grow to 34 mm.
