Nymphaea (Waterlily) is a genus of herb in the family waterlilies. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Canada, and Alaska. Flowers are visited by Helophilus hybridus, Lasioglossum nymphaearum, Lasioglossum nelumbonis, and Hylaeus nelumbonis.
