Moss Rose Purslane is native to Paraná, Mato Grosso do Sul, Goiás, São Paulo, Mata Atlântica, Bahia, Cerrado, Rio Grande do Sul, Pampa, Mato Grosso, Caatinga, and Minas Gerais. It has simple, broad leaves. It is a photoautotroph. Individuals can grow to 0.098 m.
