Ageratum (Whiteweed) is a genus of herb in the family Asteraceae. They are native to The Neotropics, U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and The Contiguous United States. They have achene. Flowers are visited by Ithomia patilla, Yellow-collared Scape Moth, Pink-spotted Swallowtail, and Monarch. Individuals can grow to 1.9 m.
