Reynoutria japonica (Japanese Knotweed) is a species of perennial herb in the family Polygonaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Asia. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Crabro, Choaspes benjaminii, Lucilia, and Masked Bees. Individuals can grow to 1.9 m.
