Vespula maculifrons is a species of Hymenoptera in the family Vespidae. They are native to The Nearctic. They visit flowers of Symphyotrichum, Aster, Impatiens, and Impatiens capensis. They are diurnal herbivores. Individuals can grow to 18 mm. They rely on flight to move around.
