Foeniculum vulgare (Sweet Fennel) is a species of perennial herb in the family umbellifers. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Western North America. They have simple, broad leaves and dry fruit. Flowers are visited by Halictus, Bumble Bees, Mud Dauber, and Apis cerana. Individuals can grow to 2 m.
