Urena lobata (Caesarweed) is a species of shrub in the family Malvaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, Cerrado, GoiáS, AmazôNia, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso, Santa Catarina, ParaíBa, Distrito Federal, Bahia, Mata AtlâNtica, Rio De Janeiro, Mato Grosso Do Sul, SãO Paulo, Pantanal, Caatinga, Pará, Rio Grande Do Sul, Acre (Brazil), Paraná, Tocantins, Sergipe, Alagoas, Pampa, AmazôNia, Maranhao, and Ceará. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Bombus impatiens, Lasioglossum ernesti, Agapostemon splendens, and Zebra Longwing. Individuals can grow to 1.9 m.
