Papilio palamedes (Palamedes Swallowtail) is a species of butterflies in the family swallowtail butterflies. They visit flowers of yellow thistle, coastal plain chaffhead, mountain azalea, and pickerelweed. They are diurnal. Individuals can grow to 122 mm.
