Peruvian Groundcherry is native to Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia. It has simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by wool-carder bee. Peruvian Groundcherry is a photoautotroph. Individuals can grow to 1.3 m.
