Physalis peruviana (Peruvian Groundcherry) is a species of shrub in the family nightshades. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, and Peru. They have berries. Flowers are visited by Paulista Bumble Bee.
