They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, Alaska, and Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Hylaeus schwarzii, Lasioglossum nelumbonis, and European honey bee. Individuals can grow to 0.34 m.
