Rubus is a genus of shrub in the family Rosaceae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to North America, Western North America, and Eastern North America. Flowers are visited by Pyronia tithonus, Orange-rumped bumblebee, Apis mellifera, and Bombus. Individuals can grow to 3.4 m.
