Rubus ursinus (California Blackberry) is a species of shrub in the family Rosaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to North America, The Contiguous United States, Canada, Western North America, and United States. They have compound, broad leaves, white flowers, and drupes. Flowers are visited by Black Tail Bumble Bee, Alfalfa Looper Moth, Spotless Lady Beetle, and Bumble Bees. Individuals can grow to 2 feet.
