Manlike en vroulike blomme word op verskillende bome geproduseer en het 'n onaangename reuk. Die vrugte kom voor in trossies van ongeveer 10 cm lank. Elke vrug is sowat 8 x 4 mm groot en vlesig. Die vrugte is groen wanneer hulle jonk is en word later helderrooi en uiteindelik perserig-swart.
