Panicum dichotomiflorum (Fall Panicgrass) is a species of annual grass in the family True grasses. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is associated with freshwater habitat. Panicum dichotomiflorum is native to the contiguous United States, the contiguous United States, Puerto Rico, Paraíba, Minas Gerais, Rio Grande do Sul, Piauí, Tocantins, Caatinga, Pampa, Mato Grosso, Santa Catarina, Mato Grosso do Sul, Distrito Federal, Roraima, Pará, Cerrado, Rio de Janeiro, Amazônia, Ceará, Amazônia, Maranhao, Pernambuco, Bahia, Alagoas, Pantanal, Amapá, Goiás, Rio Grande do Norte, São Paulo, Paraná, and Mata Atlântica. It has simple, broad leaves and green flowers. It is a photoautotroph.
