Distichlis spicata (Saltgrass) is a species of perennial herb in the family true grasses. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, United States, North America, Eastern North America, The Contiguous United States, and Western North America. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Individuals can grow to 1.1 feet.
