Juniperus virginiana (Eastern Juniper) is a species of tree in the family Cupressaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Canada, North America, United States, Eastern North America, northern hemisphere, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, scale leaf leaves, green flowers, and drupe. Flowers are visited by Callophrys gryneus. Individuals can grow to 50 feet.
