Adults occur on rocky shores of coastal waters (Ref. 5298). Oviparous. Eggs are demersal and adhesive (Ref. 205), and are attached to the substrate via a filamentous, adhesive pad or pedestal (Ref. 94114). Larvae are planktonic, often found in shallow, coastal waters (Ref. 94114).

Parablennius verryckeni is a species of combtooth blenny found in the eastern Atlantic ocean from Congo to Sierra Leone. This species reaches a length of 4.9 centimetres (1.9 in) TL.[2] The specific name honours the radio and telegraph operator and sports fisherman C. Verrycken of Banana Creek in the Democratic Republic of the Congo Poll said collected “many interesting specimens” for him.[3]
