Lepidosiren paradoxa (South American Lungfish) is a species of Ceratodontiformes in the family Lepidosirenidae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to The Neotropics. They are solitary carnivores. Individuals can grow to 125 cm. They have parental care (female provides care and paternal care). They rely on swimming to move around.
