Platysternon megacephalum (Big-headed Turtle) is a species of turtle in the family big-headed turtles. It is listed as endangered by IUCN and in CITES Appendix I. It is associated with freshwater habitat. It is found in the Palearctic and the Indo-Malayan Realm. It is a herbivore. Individuals are known to live for 27 years.
