Vigna luteola (Hairypod Cowpea) is a species of perennial herb in the family legumes. They are climbers. They are native to SãO Paulo, U.S. Virgin Islands, The Contiguous United States, Bahia, Rio Grande Do Sul, AmazôNia, Minas Gerais, Santa Catarina, Caatinga, Cerrado, Paraná, China, Pará, Piauí, Rio De Janeiro, Eastern North America, Mata Atlântica, and Puerto Rico. They have compound, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Slender Resin Bee, Anthidiellum, Leptotes, and Spot-fronted Wool-carder Bee.
