Albizia niopoides (Silk Tree) is a species of tree in the family Fabaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to RondôNia, Minas Gerais, Pampa, Tocantins, Rio De Janeiro, Paraná, Acre (Brazil), GoiáS, Mato Grosso, Cerrado, Santa Catarina, Piauí, Maranhao, Distrito Federal, Ceará, Rio Grande Do Sul, SãO Paulo, Mata AtlâNtica, AmazôNia, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Bahia, and Pará. They have compound, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 40 m.
