Stem much reduced. Leaf imparipinnately compound, petiole 5-7 cm long, rachis 10-16 mm long, leaflets subsessile, 12-27 mm long, c. 2-3 mm broad, narrowly linear-lanceolate to linear oblong, acute, glabrous above, tomentellous below and along the margins; stipules 16 mm long. Inflorescence apparently 1-flowered, peduncle up to 1 cm long. Bracts 6-8 mm long. Calyx 11 mm long, tomentellous, teeth 2 mm long. Vexillum and wing not present in type. Keel 22 mm long. Fruit subglobose, c. 22 mm, very abruptly narrowed to a very short beak at the apex and a short stipe at the base, pubescent, hairs simple, furcate or stellate; semibi¬locular, the dorsal septum only shortly intrusive. Seed reniform.
