Cajanus cajan (Pigeonpea) is a species of shrub in the family legumes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have compound, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Nomia chandleri, Megachile curtula, Axestotrigona cameroonensis, and Megachile torrida. Individuals can grow to 10 feet.
