Prosopis juliflora (Ironwood) is a species of tree in the family Fabaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Colombia and Venezuela. They have compound, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Ceylalictus punjabensis, Ant, Large Carpenter Bees, and Xylocopa darwini. Individuals can grow to 10 m.
