Gliricidia sepium (Gliricidia) is a species of tree in the family Fabaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have compound, broad leaves and green flowers. Flowers are visited by Cozumel Emerald, Violet-banded Skipper, and Xylocopa fimbriata. Individuals can grow to 65 feet.
