Pithecellobium dulce (Monkeypod) is a species of shrub in the family legumes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Hawaiian Islands and Florida. They have compound, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Polyommatina, Melanis acroleuca, Melanis cephise, and Clavipes Sphinx. Individuals can grow to 20 m.
