Mimosa arenosa (Elegant Mimosa) is a species of shrub in the family legumes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Bahia, ParaíBa, Mexico, SãO Paulo, Ceará, Maranhao, Alagoas, Rio Grande Do Norte, Minas Gerais, Sergipe, Piauí, and Pernambuco. They have compound, broad leaves and achenes.
