Dalea purpurea (Purple Prairie Clover) is a species of perennial herb in the family legumes. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, Eastern North America, and United States. Flowers are visited by Erased Cuckoo Nomad Bee, Eucera dubitata, Common Eastern Bumblebee, and All-pale Perdita. Individuals can grow to 5 dm.
