Eucalyptus (Gum) is a genus of tree in the family myrtles. They are native to Western North America. They have capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Bellbird, Rufous hummingbird, White-lined Sphinx, and Black Flying Fox. Individuals can grow to 11 m.
