Impatiens (Jewelweeds) is a genus of shrub in the family Balsaminaceae. They are native to Alaska, North America, The Contiguous United States, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, and Canada. They have loculicidal capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Common Eastern Bumblebee, Ruby-throated Hummingbird, Eastern Yellowjacket, and Half-black Bumblebee. Individuals can grow to 5.3 m.
