Asplenium pteropus (West Indian Spleenwort) is a species of perennial herb in the family spleenworts. They are native to Espirito Santo, Rio De Janeiro, SãO Paulo, Paraná, Minas Gerais, Mata Atlântica, Bahia, Santa Catarina, and Puerto Rico. They have alternation of generations.
