Gymnocarpium dryopteris (Common Fern) is a species of perennial herb in the family Cystopteridaceae. They are native to Western North America, Alaska, United States, Greenland, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Canada, and The Contiguous United States. They have pinnatifid leaves.
