Eryngium amethystinum (Amethyst Eryngo) is a species of perennial herb in the family umbellifers. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Zygaena transalpina, (page not found), Melitaea trivia, and Grayling. Individuals can grow to 0.39 m.
