Diospyros virginiana (Common Persimmon) is a species of tree in the family Ebenaceae. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Eastern North America, North America, and United States. They have yellow flowers and berries. Flowers are visited by Two-spotted Leafwalker, Andrena atlantica, Southern Carpenter Bee, and Honeylocust Agrilus. Individuals can grow to 55 feet.
