Eriodictyon californicum is a species of shrub in the family Boraginaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Western North America, United States, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and purple flowers. Flowers are visited by Heliopetes ericetorum, Spring White, Callophrys augustinus, and Gnophaela latipennis. Individuals can grow to 8 feet.
