Platanus occidentalis (American Sycamore) is a species of tree in the family Platanaceae. They are native to North America, Canada, The Contiguous United States, Eastern North America, and United States. They have red flowers. Flowers are visited by Blue Jay. Individuals can grow to 100 feet.
