Argemone mexicana (Mexican Pricklypoppy) is a species of annual herb in the family Papaveraceae. They are native to U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, The Contiguous United States, and The Neotropics. Flowers are visited by Epaulette Metallic Sweat Bee, Honey bee, Poey's Furrow Bee, and Ligated Furrow Bee.
