Mollugo verticillata (Green Carpetweed) is a species of annual herb in the family carpet-weeds. They are native to Caatinga, U.S. Virgin Islands, Amazônia, Roraima, Alagoas, Pará, Espirito Santo, Cerrado, Pernambuco, Pampa, Paraná, Tocantins, Puerto Rico, Rio Grande Do Sul, The Contiguous United States, SãO Paulo, GoiáS, Mata Atlântica, Rio De Janeiro, Minas Gerais, ParaíBa, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande Do Norte, Bahia, Mato Grosso, Maranhao, Piauí, RondôNia, Distrito Federal, Sergipe, Mato Grosso Do Sul, and Ceará. They have capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Wheat Stem Maggot, Dusky-banded Forest Fly, Bombylius pulchellus, and Dainty Sulphur.
