Chrysopsis mariana (Maryland Goldenaster) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Eastern North America, and Us Fws Southeast Region. They have broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Perdita boltoniae, Long-windged Skipper, and Common Eastern Bumblebee.
