Phacelia tanacetifolia (Lacy Phacelia) is a species of annual herb in the family Boraginaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to The Contiguous United States and The Americas. They have simple, broad leaves and blue flowers. Flowers are visited by Sphaerophoria, Horsefly-like Carpenter Bee, Syrphid fly, and Buff-tailed bumblebee. Individuals can grow to 4 feet.
