Amaranthus dubius (Spleen Amaranth) is a species of shrub in the family pigweed. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands. They have simple, simple leaves. Individuals can grow to 1.2 m. Reproduction is monoecious.
