Chamissoa altissima (False Chaff Flower) is a species of shrub in the family Amaranthaceae. They are climbers. They are native to Caatinga, Puerto Rico, SãO Paulo, The Neotropics, RondôNia, Bahia, AmazôNia, ParaíBa, Acre (Brazil), Santa Catarina, Paraná, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Roraima, Amapá, Mato Grosso, Alagoas, Rio De Janeiro, Tocantins, GoiáS, Mata Atlântica, Pernambuco, U.S. Virgin Islands, Rio Grande Do Sul, Espirito Santo, Minas Gerais, Ceará, Pará, Cerrado, and Maranhao. They have simple, broad leaves.
