Cucurbita pepo (Field Pumpkin) is a species of annual herb in the family Cucurbitaceae. It is a climber. It is associated with freshwater habitat. Field Pumpkin is native to the contiguous United States and the Americas. It has simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Pruinose Squash Bee. Field Pumpkin is a photoautotroph. Individuals can grow to 4.5 m. Reproduction is monoecious.
