Eryngium maritimum (seaside eryngo) is a herbaceous species of plants in the family Apiaceae, with a self-supporting growth habit. It has simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Lady beetle, Carpenter Bees, Vanessa cardui, and Colpa sexmaculata (Fabricius 1781). It is a photoautotroph.
