Ribes aureum (Golden Currant) is a species of shrub in the family gooseberries. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, Western North America, and United States. They have yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Schuh's Miner Bee and Andrena submaura. Individuals can grow to 10 feet.
