Cakile edentula (American Searocket) is a species of annual herb in the family crucifers. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Canada, Greenland, Alaska, The Contiguous United States, and Eastern North America. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Leioproctus metallicus and Zizina otis labradus. Individuals can grow to 0.45 m.
