Shepherdia canadensis (Russet Buffaloberry) is a species of shrub in the family Elaeagnaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to United States, Western North America, Alaska, North America, Canada, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by dagger flies and balloon flies. Individuals can grow to 6 feet.
