They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, and North America. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Common Eastern Bumblebee, Anthophora terminalis, Ruby-throated Hummingbird, and Northern Amber Bumble Bee. Individuals can grow to 2 m.
