Zanthoxylum fagara is a species of tree in the family Rutaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Caatinga, Mato Grosso, Roraima, Amazônia, RondôNia, SãO Paulo, Pernambuco, Cerrado, Espirito Santo, Santa Catarina, Mata Atlântica, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Paraná, Pampa, The Contiguous United States, Bahia, Rio Grande Do Sul, Minas Gerais, Pantanal, North America, and Rio De Janeiro. They have compound, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Syrphid fly, Papilio cresphontes, Hoplitimyia mutabilis, and Copestylum sexmaculatum. Individuals can grow to 9.1 m.
